Glen was saved by Jesus while attending a summer camp in middle school. He has served in several churches, including churches in California and Kentucky before moving to Massachusetts in 2012 to pastor Winthrop Street Baptist Church. He serves the church through preaching, teaching, music, and pastoral ministries. He is married to Jessica and they have four kids.
Joe came to Christ in junior high when a friend shared the gospel with him. He has been a part of the Winthrop Street Baptist Church family since 1987. He joined the staff and church membership in 1989. He has served in his current role as the Youth Pastor since 1999. In addition to student ministry, Joe has served the church through children’s ministry, technology and media ministry, missions and more. He resides in Taunton.
Justin realized he needed Jesus as his Savior in 1997 after attending Grace Gospel’s “Heaven’s Gate, Hell’s Fire,” a play about the afterlife. He and his wife Karen joined Winthrop Street Baptist Church in 2007, and have served in various capacities, including children’s and family ministries and small group ministries. They have three children and live in Taunton.
After being influenced by a friend at work, Bob began reading the gospel of Matthew where he encountered Jesus Christ as his savior. He publicly went forward in1983 to accept Jesus with his wife Michelle at an evangelistic event hosted by an associate of Billy Graham. Soon after, Bob and Michelle landed at Winthrop Street Baptist Church, where they have been ever since. Bob has served the church through teaching and small group ministry. Bob and his wife live in Taunton and have four adult children.
Tim was lead to Jesus in 1979 after reading a copy of “Our Daily Bread” which was given to him by a friend from work. The very next Sunday he started attending Winthrop Street Baptist Church. The next Sunday his wife Paula went with him and she accepted Christ as Savior. Tim has been at WSBC ever since and has served in many ways, including pastoral ministry, student ministry, counseling and more. Paula is currently on staff as the Administrative Assistant. They reside in Taunton and have two adult children.
Doug accepted Christ at the age of 14 after listening to a message by Billy Graham. He has attended Winthrop Street Baptist Church since 2007. He has a Master of Arts in counseling and a Master of Divinity from Gordon Conwell Theological Seminary and is a licensed mental health counselor. He has served the church through teaching, counseling, prayer ministry, and more. He and his wife Dot live in Lakeville.
